ACT 1,8 m cable VGA de altas prestaciones macho-macho con carcasas metálicas

The ACT 1.8m High Performance VGA Cable Male–Male with metal hoods is designed for reliable analog video connections between computers, monitors and projectors. The cable uses standard VGA (D-Sub) male connectors on both ends and a 1.8 metre length to provide flexible placement while maintaining signal integrity. A black outer jacket and robust connector hoods contribute to mechanical durability for repeated connections in home, office or classroom setups.

Advantages

This VGA cable delivers consistent analog video transmission with minimal signal loss thanks to its attention to connector quality and shielding. Metal hoods reinforce the connector shells for improved strain resistance and longevity. The 1.8 m length balances reach and cable management, reducing clutter while allowing typical desktop and AV room layouts. The straightforward male–male design ensures compatibility with standard VGA ports without the need for adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or laptops to VGA-equipped monitors
• Linking computers to projectors in meeting rooms or classrooms
• Replacing or installing a durable VGA lead for AV setups
• Temporary or permanent workstation display connections

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.8 m
• Connector type: VGA (D-Sub) male to VGA (D-Sub) male
• Cable colour: Black
• Connector hoods: Metal for reinforced durability
• Intended signal: Analog video (VGA)

How to use

Connect one VGA (D-Sub) male connector to the VGA output on your computer or laptop and the other male connector to the VGA input on your monitor or projector. Secure each connector by tightening the thumb screws on the metal hoods to ensure a stable mechanical and electrical connection. If the display does not detect a signal, check both ends for tight seating and confirm the display input is set to VGA. Avoid sharp bends near the connector ends and route the cable to prevent pinching.

Recommendations

For optimal image quality, use this cable for resolutions typical of VGA signals (such as 640x480 up to higher analog resolutions supported by your hardware). Keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference (power supplies, large motors, fluorescent lighting) and avoid excessive twisting. Inspect connector hoods periodically and tighten thumb screws if they become loose to maintain a reliable connection.
