How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network device (switch, patch panel or NIC) and the other to the corresponding port. Recommendations

ACT recommends shorter permanent link lengths than standard 24 AWG patchcords when using thinner 28 AWG constructions because of higher attenuation, especially at higher frequencies. In PoE deployments, limit bundled cable groups to a maximum of 24 cables to help control temperature rise; follow current standards (ANSI TSB-184-A) that limit the centre cable temperature increase to less than 15 °C above ambient.
