Actidata - Carcasa de almacenamiento - 1x 5,25 pulgadas HH - Carcasa LTO - negro - extra profunda - FC LC I/O

For IT environments that demand reliable, high-capacity data archiving, the ACTIDATA 11-0698-IBM LTO enclosure provides a dedicated, extra-deep housing for a single 5.25" half-height LTO tape drive. Unlike generic external drive cases, this unit is built specifically for LTO mechanisms, with a Fibre Channel LC host interface that integrates directly into SAN and enterprise backup infrastructures.

Highlights

• Accommodates one 5.25" half-height LTO tape drive (drive not included)
• Fibre Channel host connection with LC connector for high-speed data transfer
• Extra-deep chassis ensures compatibility with longer LTO mechanisms
• Active fan cooling maintains optimal operating temperatures
• Kensington lock slot for physical security
• Integrated AC power supply (100–240 V, 50/60 Hz)
• LED indicators for power and drive activity
• Durable steel/aluminium construction in black

In daily use

This enclosure is a straightforward way to add a standalone LTO tape drive to a server room or workstation. The half-height bay accepts standard LTO drives from major manufacturers, and the extra-deep design prevents clearance issues with longer drive bodies. The Fibre Channel LC port delivers the bandwidth needed for LTO-5 and later generations, while the active fan keeps the drive within its specified thermal envelope during extended backup jobs. The front-panel LEDs give at-a-glance confirmation of power and drive activity, and the Kensington slot allows the enclosure to be physically secured in open environments.
