Aislamiento de cable funda trenzada DeLOCK 18934

The DeLOCK 18934 braided sleeving is a 2-meter fiberglass sleeve designed to insulate and protect cables, wires and electrical tubing from high temperatures, dirt and mechanical wear. With a maximum expandable diameter of 1 cm and a white finish, the sleeving provides a tidy, durable solution for cable management in industrial or domestic installations.

Advantages

This fiberglass sleeving offers thermal protection and electrical insulation while remaining lightweight and flexible. Its braided construction allows easy expansion to fit over cables and bundles up to 1 cm in diameter, and the 2 m length covers multiple runs or longer cable segments. The white colour helps maintain a clean appearance and simplifies identification of protected lines.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting single cables and small cable bundles
• Routing and tidying wiring in appliances and control panels
• Protecting wires in high-temperature areas or near heat sources
• Repairing or reinforcing exposed cable sections

How to use

Measure the cable length to be protected and cut the sleeving to the required 2 m or shorter length with appropriate scissors. Compress or expand the braided sleeving and slide it over the cable or bundle; the braid allows for slight diameter adjustment to ease installation. For fixed ends, secure with heat-resistant tape, cable ties or adhesive designed for high-temperature applications to prevent fraying and to hold the sleeving in place.

Recommendations

For best results, confirm compatibility with the operating temperature and electrical requirements of your installation before use. Avoid exposing the fiberglass sleeving to abrasive chemicals or sharp edges without additional protective layers; trim cut ends cleanly and secure them to prevent unraveling.
