Alicate Knipex 95 05 20 SB acero inoxidable mango de plástico azul rojo

The Knipex 95 05 20 SB plier combines stainless-steel cutting edges with an ergonomic plastic handle in blue and red to deliver precise, non-slip cutting, crimping and reliable everyday handling. The tool features angled, precision-ground blades with fine serrations, two crimping areas for ferrules, an opening spring, a storage lock and a tether attachment compatible with the KNIPEX Tethered Tools System. Cutting-edge hardness is 56 HRC.

Advantages

Precision-ground blades with fine serrations provide a clean, secure cut while the angled blades and optimised handle shape improve hand adaptation and ergonomics. Two dedicated crimping areas cover ferrules from 0.5–6 mm² and 10–25 mm². The stainless-steel cutting edges resist corrosion and have a hardness of 56 HRC. Built-in opening spring, locking mechanism and tether attachment increase safety and convenience during storage and on elevated worksites.

Suitable for

• Cutting and trimming wires and small profile materials
• Crimping wire ferrules 0.5–6 mm² and 10–25 mm²
• Use in electrical, maintenance and installation tasks
• Applications requiring tethering for fall-prevention on ladders or scaffolding

How to use

Position the wire between the precision-ground blades and close the pliers evenly to achieve a clean cut. For crimping ferrules, place the ferrule into the appropriate crimping area matching the ferrule cross-section (0.5–6 mm² or 10–25 mm²) and compress until the ferrule is securely deformed. Use the opening spring for controlled, repeatable operation and engage the lock when storing the tool. Attach a tether to the designated point if working at height with a compatible KNIPEX tethering system.

Recommendations

Do not use the pliers to cut hardened wire or materials beyond the intended crimping and cutting ranges. Clean and lightly oil the joint and cutting edges periodically to maintain corrosion resistance and cutting performance; store locked when not in use.
