ASUS TUF Gaming A18 TUF808UM-DICS8103W AMD Ryzen™ 7 260 Portátil 45,7 cm (18 inch) WUXGA 32 GB DDR5-SDRAM 1 TB SSD NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) Windows 11 Home Negro, Gris

The ASUS TUF Gaming A18 (TUF808UM-DICS8103W) is an 18-inch clamshell gaming laptop designed for Windows 11. It pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor (3.8 GHz, 8 cores) with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU and integrated AMD Radeon 780M graphics. The 45.7 cm (18") WUXGA IPS-level display offers 1920 x 1200 resolution in a 16:10 format. The configuration includes 32 GB DDR5-5600 RAM and a 1 TB SSD, plus Wi‑Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 for modern connectivity.

Advantages

The A18 provides a large 18" WUXGA screen that increases viewing area and productivity while keeping pixel density suitable for gaming. Its AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor and RTX 5060 graphics deliver capable performance for current games and content creation tasks. Fast DDR5 memory and a 1 TB SSD ensure responsive system performance and ample storage for games and files. Built-in Wi‑Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 enable low-latency wireless connections, and a 90 Wh battery supports extended use between charges.

Suitable for

• Gaming at high settings in modern titles at 1080p/1200p resolutions
• Content creation tasks such as video editing and 3D work at a mid to high level
• Multitasking and productivity with large memory capacity (32 GB DDR5)
• Remote work and online meetings using Wi‑Fi 6E and built-in connectivity

When it may not be suitable

The A18 is relatively large and heavy compared with 13–15" ultraportables, so it may not be ideal if you need a very lightweight travel laptop. While the RTX 5060 offers strong performance for most users, it is not the top-tier mobile GPU for those who require the absolute maximum frame rates at ultrawide or native 4K resolution.

What to consider before purchase

• Physical size and weight of an 18" laptop versus portability needs
• Display resolution (1920 x 1200) and whether higher resolution is required for your workflows
• GPU performance level (RTX 5060) relative to desired gaming or rendering targets
• Battery capacity and expected runtime for your typical use

Recommendations

For gaming, keep GPU drivers up to date and use a wired Ethernet connection for competitive online play. For content creation, enable performance mode and consider external storage for large media projects. Regularly update Windows and drivers to maintain stability and security.
