BLACKBOX FO OS1/2 SINGLE-MODE PATCH-KABEL LSZH - LC-LC DUPLEX, 3M

In a busy data center, a network engineer reaches for a reliable fiber patch cable to connect a core switch to a distribution panel. This 3-meter single-mode LC-LC duplex cable with LSZH jacket ensures stable, low-loss transmission at 1310 nm and 1550 nm, making it a trusted choice for high-speed backbone links.

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Single-mode OS1/OS2, 9/125 µm core/cladding
• Connectors: LC duplex to LC duplex, UPC polish
• Length: 3 meters (9.8 ft)
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), yellow
• Insertion loss: ≤ 0.3 dB; return loss: ≥ 50 dB
• Attenuation: 0.35 dB/km @ 1310 nm, 0.25 dB/km @ 1550 nm
• Bend radius: ≥ 30 mm
• Operating temperature: -20°C to 70°C
• Compliance: RoHS, TIA/EIA-568-C.3, IEC 60794-2

Why choose it

The LSZH jacket emits low smoke and no halogen in case of fire, protecting both equipment and personnel in enclosed spaces. Precise LC connectors and tight tolerances deliver consistent performance for 1G/10G/25G/40G Ethernet and Fibre Channel applications.

Ideal use cases

• Data center interconnects between switches and patch panels
• Telecom central offices and server rooms
• Enterprise backbone links requiring low attenuation
• Any environment where LSZH is mandated for safety

Good to know

Each cable is individually tested to ensure compliance with insertion loss and return loss specifications. The duplex clip allows easy polarity reversal. The yellow jacket provides high visibility and quick identification of single-mode fiber.
