BlueOptics 10GB-F20-SFPP-BO Cable de fibra óptica InfiniBand 20 m SFP+ SFP+ AOC Naranja

The BlueOptics 10GB-F20-SFPP-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 20 m active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed 10G data transmission over multimode fiber, this pre-assembled SFP+–SFP+ AOC provides a single-cable solution for direct connections between switches, servers, routers and storage equipment that support SFP+ interfaces. The cable’s orange jacket and factory-integrated transceivers simplify installation and reduce the need for separate patch cords, while compliance with SFP+ MSA electrical and mechanical standards ensures interoperability with devices that accept compatible SFP+ AOCs.

Advantages

The AOC delivers low-latency 10G connectivity without susceptibility to electromagnetic interference, and the integrated transmitter/receiver pairs eliminate field termination and cleaning of separate fiber connectors. Built to MSA-compatible SFP+ form-factor specifications, the cable supports plug-and-play installation and is manufactured with components selected to meet industrial quality and reliability expectations. Its 20 m length allows flexible rack-to-rack or cabinet-to-cabinet connections in data center and networking environments.

Suitable for

• Direct 10G SFP+ connections between switches and routers
• Server-to-switch and storage-to-switch links in data centers
• Short-reach multimode fiber interconnects in enterprise networks
• Environments requiring CE and RoHS compliant fiber cabling

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP+ to SFP+ (male/male)
• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC) with integrated transceivers
• Length: 20 metres
• Supported data rate: up to 10 Gbps
• Transmission medium: multimode fiber
• Form factor compliance: SFP+ MSA compatible
• Jacket colour: orange

How to use

Power down is typically not required for hot-pluggable SFP+ AOCs; insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on your devices until it latches. Verify link status on both ends using your device management interface or LED indicators. If your hardware supports Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM/DOM), enable the feature in the host system to monitor parameters such as optical power and temperature where supported. Ensure that both devices accept MSA-compatible SFP+ AOCs to guarantee full functionality.

Recommendations

Route the cable carefully to avoid tight bends and mechanical strain; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode AOCs and secure the cable in racks or trays to prevent tugging. Confirm device compatibility with MSA-compatible SFP+ AOCs and, when possible, test a sample in your specific hardware and software environment before large-scale deployment.
