BlueOptics 10GB-F25-SFPP-BO Cable de fibra óptica InfiniBand 25 m SFP+ SFP+ AOC Naranja

The BlueOptics 10GB-F25-SFPP-BO is a 25 m Active Optical Cable (AOC) with SFP+ connectors on both ends, engineered for InfiniBand and 10GBASE-SR applications. This pre-terminated fiber assembly provides a single, orange multi-mode cable with integrated transceivers, enabling low-latency, high-throughput links between switches, routers, storage systems and other SFP+-equipped network devices. The male-to-male SFP+ configuration and MSA-compliant electrical and mechanical design ensure interchangeability with major networking platforms that support SFP+ AOC modules.

Advantages

The integrated transmitter and receiver on each end remove the need for separate transceivers and patch cables, simplifying installation and reducing connector loss. Compliance with SFP+ MSA and use of high-quality components support long service life and consistent performance for high-speed Ethernet, Fibre Channel over Ethernet and InfiniBand links. As an active optical cable, it avoids electromagnetic interference and enables stable multi-mode fiber transmission over 25 meters with minimal attenuation.

Suitable for

• Connecting SFP+ ports between switches and routers in data centers
• High-speed server-to-switch links in rack environments
• Short-reach storage network connections (FCoE, iSCSI over 10G)
• InfiniBand and 10GBASE-SR compatible equipment interconnects

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP+ to SFP+ (male/male)
• Cable length: 25 meters
• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC), multi-mode fiber
• Supported data rates: up to 10 Gbit/s per link
• Color: Orange (multi-mode fiber identification)
• Digital Diagnostics: DDM/DOM support (if host hardware supports the feature)
• MSA compliance: SFP+ AOC form factor and electrical/mechanical compatibility

How to use

Install the BlueOptics 10GB-F25-SFPP-BO by inserting each SFP+ end into the corresponding SFP+ port on your networking devices until the retention latch clicks. Ensure both devices support SFP+ AOC modules and the desired protocol (10G Ethernet, FCoE or InfiniBand). No additional patch cords or separate transceivers are required. If available, enable or query Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM/DOM) on the host device to monitor link parameters such as received power and temperature.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. Confirm firmware and vendor compatibility for SFP+ AOC modules on both connected devices before deployment. Use the cable in indoor data center or server room environments free from excessive dust, moisture or heat to preserve optical performance and expected service life.
