Cable óptico activo SFP+ CBO SFP-AOC-10G-1M — 10G, 1 m, compatible con Nokia

CBO SFP-AOC-10G-1M is an SFP+ active optical cable that provides 10 Gbps connectivity over a 1 meter link. Designed for compatibility with Nokia SFP+ ports, this AOC offers a factory-terminated duplex fiber connection in an SFP+ form factor for short-reach links between switches, servers and storage devices. The plug-and-play design eliminates the need for separate transceivers and fiber patch cords, simplifying rack-to-rack and in-rack interconnections in data centers and server rooms.

Advantages

The active optical cable supports 10 Gigabit data rates with low latency and stable signal integrity over 1 m, reducing electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives. Its SFP+ connector and integrated fiber reduce cabling complexity and save rack space. Compatibility with Nokia SFP+ ports enables straightforward deployment without additional configuration, while the pre-terminated cable ensures consistent optical performance and reduced assembly time.

Suitable for

• Short-reach switch-to-switch connections in data centers
• Server-to-switch uplinks inside racks
• Interconnects between storage arrays and network devices
• High-density blade or top-of-rack (ToR) installations

Key specifications

• Data rate: 10 Gbps
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC), duplex fiber
• Connector form factor: SFP+
• Length: 1 meter
• Reach: short-range connections (1 m)
• Latency: low, suitable for high-performance networking
• Interference: immune to electromagnetic interference compared with copper cabling

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on the devices to be linked until the latch engages. Ensure both devices support SFP+ AOC modules compatible with Nokia SFP+ ports. No separate transceiver or fiber patch cords are required; the cable is pre-terminated and ready for immediate operation. Check device port settings and firmware if the link does not come up automatically, and verify that the cable length and port type match your deployment needs.

Recommendations

Use the cable within a protected rack environment and avoid tight bends or crush loads; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for the fiber. For best results, keep firmware and device drivers up to date and verify port compatibility in planned deployments. For distances longer than 1 m or different connector types, consider modular transceivers with separate fiber patching.
