BlueOptics QK733A-BO cable de fibra óptica InfiniBand 2 m 2x LC violeta

The BlueOptics QK733A-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 2 m 2x LC Violet is a duplex multimode cable designed for high-speed interconnects in data centres and enterprise networks. It uses OM4 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and LC connectors on both ends to provide reliable full-duplex InfiniBand links over short to medium distances. The violet outer jacket identifies the cable easily in densely populated cabling environments and helps with organised fibre management.

Advantages

This 2 m InfiniBand fibre cable supports high bandwidth and low attenuation characteristics associated with OM4 multimode fibre, enabling stable data transfer rates required by modern storage and compute fabrics. The LC duplex connectors provide a compact connection footprint and easy insertion into standard InfiniBand and optical transceiver ports. The violet jacket improves visual identification and routing in patch panels and cable trays, while the factory-terminated connectors ensure consistent optical performance and reduced installation time.

Suitable for

• Short- to medium-distance InfiniBand interconnects in racks and server cabinets
• High-speed links between switches, storage arrays and compute nodes
• Structured multimode fibre patching in data centre and network rooms

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC duplex (2x LC)
• Length: 2 m
• Transmission mode: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Violet
• Intended interface: InfiniBand-compatible optical links

How to use

Route the cable from one InfiniBand port to the corresponding port on the destination device, maintaining gentle bends and avoiding sharp kinks. Insert the LC connectors into compatible ports until the latch clicks, ensuring correct polarity for transmit and receive channels. Secure excess cable length with appropriate cable management clips or ties to prevent strain on the connectors. When disconnecting, depress the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep bend radius above manufacturer guidelines, maintain clean connector endfaces, and use dust caps when ports are not in use. Validate link performance after installation with appropriate optical or InfiniBand diagnostic tools, especially in high-density or mission-critical deployments.
