BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-CO-BO Cable óptico activo SFP28, 25 m, color menta, conector macho-conector macho

BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-CO-BO is an active optical cable with SFP28 connectors on both ends and a 25 m length. Designed for 25GbE and InfiniBand links, this AOC provides a lightweight, low-latency multi-mode fibre connection for network switches, servers and storage arrays. The cable comes with male-to-male SFP28 terminations and a mint-coloured jacket for easy visual identification in dense cabling environments.

Advantages

This active optical cable reduces weight and electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives while maintaining transmission characteristics suitable for high-speed 25 Gbit/s links. Integrated transceivers at each end simplify installation by presenting standard SFP28 interfaces to connected devices. The mint-coloured outer jacket makes it easier to separate and identify connections during deployment and maintenance.

Suitable for

• 25GbE uplinks between switches and aggregation devices
• Server-to-switch connections in data centre racks
• Storage area network links requiring low-latency fibre connections
• Short-reach multi-mode fibre runs up to 25 m

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connector type (each end): SFP28 male
• Design: active optical cable with integrated transmitter and receiver
• Typical application: 25 Gbit/s high-speed links over multi-mode fibre
• Product colour: mint
• Weight: 0.15 kg

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on network devices until the latch engages. Ensure both connected devices support SFP28 AOCs and the target link speed (25GbE or compatible protocol). Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; maintain a minimum bend radius as recommended for multi-mode fibre assemblies. Power on devices and verify link negotiation and status through the equipment management interface.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid tight bundling with power cables and secure the cable to prevent stress at the transceiver housings. Use the mint-coloured jacket to label or document connections in rack diagrams to speed troubleshooting. Verify device compatibility with SFP28 AOCs when integrating into vendor-specific platforms.
