BlueOptics SFP3133EU7.5MK Cable de fibra óptica InfiniBand 7,5 m LC ST Azul

The BlueOptics SFP3133EU7.5MK is a 7.5 m duplex InfiniBand fibre optic patch cord with LC/UPC to ST/PC connectors designed for multimode OM3 (50/125 µm) networks. The cable is laser-optimized for 850 nm transmission, presented in aqua color and fitted with a flame-retardant LSZH jacket. It is intended for high-speed data links between patch panels, optical transceivers and other fibre-based networking equipment, offering low attenuation and tested performance to support reliable connectivity in data centre and enterprise environments.

Advantages

The cable provides low attenuation (specified at 3.5 dB/km for OM3 at 850 nm) and low input loss, together with high return loss; connector polish options (UPC or APC) allow further return-loss optimization. Components use branded multimode fibre and precision connectors with zirconia ceramic ferrules rated for up to 1500 mating cycles. Each unit is factory-tested with interferometer and OTDR methods and shipped with a measurement protocol for input loss and return loss.

How to use

Inspect connectors and cable for visible damage before installation. Align the LC and ST connectors with the corresponding ports and insert until a secure connection is achieved; ensure proper polarity for duplex links. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress, keeping minimum bend radius recommended for multimode OM3 fibre. After installation, verify link performance using an optical power meter or appropriate transceiver diagnostics and compare measured insertion loss and return loss with the supplied protocol.

Recommendations

For best performance, maintain correct polarity and secure strain relief at patch panels and transceivers. Avoid repeated connector contamination by using dust caps when connectors are not in use and perform cleaning with approved fibre cleaning tools before mating. Select UPC or APC polished connectors according to system requirements for return loss.
