Cable coaxial RG-59 ShiverPeaks BS80095-32

The ShiverPeaks BS80095-32 is a 5-meter RG-59 coaxial cable with F-type connectors on both ends designed for video and audio signal transmission. Its construction focuses on maintaining signal integrity for analogue and digital sources where an RG-59 geometry is appropriate. The cable provides a balance of flexibility and durability for installation in residential and commercial environments.

Advantages

This RG-59 cable offers low attenuation across short to moderate runs, reliable F-type terminations for easy connection to set-top boxes, CCTV cameras and TVs, and a sheath that resists everyday wear during routing and handling. Its 5-meter length reduces the need for additional couplers while maintaining manageable coiling and storage. The cable's flexibility simplifies running through conduits and behind furniture without compromising shielding effectiveness.

Suitable for

• Connecting analogue and digital CCTV cameras to recorders
• Linking set-top boxes, satellite receivers or cable TV to televisions
• Short to medium distance video distribution in homes and small offices
• Audio transmission where coaxial connection is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: RG-59 coaxial
• Length: 5 meters
• Connector type: F-type male on both ends
• Conductor and shielding: designed for standard RG-59 impedance and shielding to minimise interference
• Jacket: flexible outer sheath suitable for indoor installations

How to use

Route the cable from the source device to the destination keeping bends gentle to avoid kinking. Screw the F-type connector securely onto the device’s socket until hand-tight; avoid excessive force to prevent damage to the connector or port. For optimal performance, keep run length as short as practical for the installation and avoid running the cable parallel to mains power cables to reduce potential interference.

Recommendations

Use this RG-59 cable for short to medium runs where RG-59 impedance is specified. For longer runs or where higher shielding and lower attenuation are required, consider using higher-specification coaxial types. Inspect connectors and cable jacket periodically for wear and replace if physical damage or signal degradation is observed.
