Cable coaxial ShiverPeaks 80085-32 5 m blanco

The ShiverPeaks 80085-32 coaxial cable is a 5 m white cable designed for reliable audio and video signal transmission. Fitted with coaxial connectors on both ends, this cable supports connections between televisions, satellite receivers, set-top boxes and other AV equipment. Its 5 metre length gives flexibility for home and small office installations while the white jacket provides a discreet, modern appearance that integrates with light-coloured interiors.

Advantages

This coaxial cable offers stable signal transfer with minimal interference thanks to its grounded coaxial construction and shielded conductor. The fixed length of 5 m reduces the need for additional joins and adapters, lowering potential signal loss points. White outer insulation resists everyday wear and maintains a neat look behind furniture or along skirting boards. The cable’s standard coaxial connectors ensure broad compatibility with common consumer AV devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting televisions to satellite or cable receivers
• Linking set-top boxes, digital tuners and VCR/DVD players
• Home AV installations where a white cable is preferred for aesthetic reasons
• Temporary or semi-permanent wiring in apartments, living rooms and small offices

Key specifications

• Cable type: coaxial cable with standard coaxial connectors on both ends
• Length: 5 metres
• Colour: white outer jacket
• Typical use: audio/video signal transmission for consumer devices
• Connector gender: compatible with standard female coaxial sockets

How to use

Inspect the connector ends and socket ports before connecting to ensure they are clean and free from damage. Align the coaxial connector with the device’s coaxial input and push or screw in place depending on the connector type, ensuring a snug fit. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinch points; secure along skirting or behind furniture as needed to keep the installation tidy. When disconnecting, grip the connector body rather than pulling the cable to avoid stress on the cable termination.

Recommendations

For best signal quality keep cable runs as direct and short as practical, avoid running parallel to mains power cables for long distances, and use high-quality connectors and well-maintained device inputs. If extending runs beyond 5 metres, consider using a single longer cable or a specified signal amplifier rather than joining multiple short cables to reduce potential signal loss.
