Cable coaxial ShiverPeaks BS80308 10 m F blanco

The ShiverPeaks BS80308 coaxial cable is a 10 m F-to-F lead designed for reliable transmission of audio and video signals. Its white jacket provides a discreet appearance for home and office installations while the standard F connectors on both ends ensure compatibility with satellite receivers, set-top boxes, TVs and radio equipment. The cable is intended to maintain signal integrity across a short to medium run, offering a straightforward wired connection where consistent analogue or digital RF performance is required.

Advantages

This 10 meter coaxial cable provides stable signal transfer with low loss for common domestic and small commercial AV applications. The F connectors are industry-standard, enabling plug-and-play connection without adapters in most installations. The white outer jacket resists everyday handling and blends into light-coloured interiors, while the cable construction is optimised for consistent impedance to reduce reflections and interference on typical RF frequencies used by TV and satellite services.

Suitable for

• Connecting satellite receivers to wall outlets or LNB inputs
• Linking set-top boxes or digital TV tuners to televisions
• Extending coaxial runs between radio equipment and antennas
• Temporary or permanent installations in living rooms, bedrooms, offices

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 metres
• Connector type: F male to F male
• Outer jacket colour: white
• Impedance: standard 75 ohm design for RF/video applications
• Typical use: analogue and digital RF signal transmission for TV and satellite

How to use

Strip any existing ends only if custom termination is required; otherwise use the pre-fitted F connectors. Ensure connectors are screwed on firmly to the corresponding female ports on devices to maintain a secure connection. Route the cable away from power lines and strong sources of electromagnetic interference, and avoid sharp bends or kinks that could damage the internal conductor or affect impedance. For wall-mounted equipment, use appropriate clips or cable management to secure the run and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, check connector tightness periodically and replace the cable if you notice signal degradation. Use this cable for runs up to 10 m in typical home installations; for longer distances or outdoor use choose cable types rated for those environments.
