Cable coaxial ShiverPeaks BS80405 5 m

The ShiverPeaks BS80405 5 m coaxial cable provides a 5-meter connection with coaxial connectors on both ends for audio and video equipment. Designed to transmit radio frequency signals between devices, this coax cable supports standard TV and satellite connections and enables stable signal transfer for home entertainment systems and related equipment.

Advantages

This coaxial cable offers a durable outer jacket and secure connector ends for repeated plugging and unplugging. Its 5 m length gives flexibility in placing devices while keeping signal attenuation within typical ranges for short-to-medium runs. The cable is engineered to maintain consistent impedance and reduce interference, supporting clear reception for television, set-top boxes, and other RF devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting televisions to wall outlets or set-top boxes
• Linking satellite receivers to LNB or indoor tuners
• Extending coax runs between AV components in home entertainment setups
• Temporary or permanent installations where a 5 m length is sufficient

Key specifications

• Cable type: coaxial
• Length: 5 meters
• Connector type: coaxial connectors on both ends
• Typical use: RF signal transmission for audio/video equipment
• Construction: shielded conductor with protective outer jacket

How to use

Connect one coaxial connector to the RF output of your source device (for example a set-top box, satellite receiver, or wall outlet) and the other connector to the input of the receiving device (such as a TV or tuner). Ensure connectors are firmly seated to avoid loose contacts. Route the cable without tight bends or kinks and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power cables to reduce interference. For best results, check signal strength after installation and adjust connections or use a shorter run if signal loss is observed.

Recommendations

Use the cable for indoor AV connections and short to moderate distance runs. Replace the cable if the outer jacket or connectors show visible wear, corrosion, or damage to maintain reliable signal quality.
