How to use

Prepare the shielded network cable by stripping the outer jacket and exposing the foil shield and twisted pairs according to the cable manufacturer’s guidance. Insert the cable into the plug body following the plug’s wiring channels and ensure the shield makes proper contact if applicable. Close the tool-free mechanism to secure the conductors and shielding; verify the connection fits firmly into an RJ45 port and test the link with appropriate network testing tools.

Recommendations

Use with shielded (STP) cables rated for Cat.8.1 to achieve the specified performance. Verify conductor pairing and shielding continuity after installation and perform a cable test to confirm signal integrity. Avoid excessive bending or strain at the termination point.
