Cable de red EFB Elektronik EC020200114 25 m Cat6a S/FTP naranja

The EFB Elektronik EC020200114 25m Cat6a S/FTP Orange networking cable delivers a high-performance wired connection for installations that require reliable, high-speed data transmission. Built to the Cat6a standard with S/FTP shielding and fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this 25-metre cable supports up to 10000 Mbit/s and is suitable for demanding IP networking environments where signal integrity and interference protection are important. The orange jacket improves visibility in cable runs and helps with easy identification during installation and maintenance.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding offers enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, maintaining signal quality across the full 25 m length. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide stable contact and corrosion resistance to ensure consistent throughput over time. The Cat6a specification supports higher bandwidth and more robust performance than previous categories, making the cable suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections at typical installation distances. The orange outer sheath increases visibility in racks, underfloor spaces, or structured cabling systems.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links in offices and data closets
• Patch panels and network switches requiring Cat6a cabling
• Home and small business networks where interference protection is needed
• Temporary or permanent cable runs where cable identification is useful

Key specifications

• Length: 25 m
• Standard: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Max data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Orange
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts

How to use

Route the cable between devices or patch points following standard structured cabling practices, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Terminate each end into RJ-45 ports on switches, patch panels, or devices; the cable is supplied with pre-attached RJ-45 connectors for plug-and-play use. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and secured; test the link with a suitable network tester to verify continuity, pair integrity and performance to the required network class before production use.

Recommendations

For consistent 10 Gigabit performance, maintain recommended bend radius and avoid bundling with unshielded power cables. Use the orange colour to label or separate segments in multi-cable installations, and perform periodic link testing after installation or major changes to the network.
