Cable de red EFB Elektronik S/FTP RJ-45 Cat.6A gris 15 m

The EFB Elektronik S/FTP RJ-45 Cat.6A Grey 15 m networking cable provides a 15-metre connection for high-speed data transmission. Constructed with S/FTP shielding and Cat.6A performance, the cable supports demanding network environments where reduced crosstalk and external interference are required. The cable is terminated with standard RJ-45 connectors on both ends and is finished in a neutral grey jacket to blend into residential or office installations.

Advantages

This S/FTP Cat.6A cable offers enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference and near-end crosstalk thanks to its foil-shielded pairs and overall braid. The Cat.6A specification supports higher bandwidth and improved signal integrity compared with lower-category cables, enabling more stable performance for modern wired networks. RJ-45 terminations ensure plug-and-play compatibility with switches, routers, network cards and other Ethernet devices. The 15 m length provides flexible placement options while keeping a single continuous run without additional couplers.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches, routers and patch panels in home and office networks
• Wired connections for streaming, VoIP and video conferencing
• Small server rooms, workstations and networked multimedia setups
• Installations requiring improved shielding to reduce interference from nearby electrical equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 15 m
• Outer jacket colour: Grey

How to use

Route the cable between network devices ensuring the RJ-45 connectors are inserted firmly into the corresponding ports until they latch. Avoid tight bends and kinks along the run; maintain a minimum bend radius equivalent to approximately four times the cable diameter to preserve performance. Keep the cable separated from high-voltage mains wiring and large power transformers to minimize potential interference. If trimming or reterminating is necessary, use appropriate tools and follow standard wiring schemes for Cat.6A to maintain shielding continuity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6A S/FTP cable for runs up to 15 m within structured cabling where reduced EMI is important. When installing in mixed-cable bundles or close to other electronic equipment, preserve shield continuity at termination points and avoid sharp bends. Store the cable coiled without tight loops and test the link with a certified network tester after installation to verify compliance with required transmission parameters.
