Cable DisplayPort a HDMI ShiverPeaks 77497-2 7,5 m, conectores dorados

The ShiverPeaks DisplayPort to HDMI cable 77497-2 (7.5 m) is a unidirectional wired connection designed to transmit video and audio from a DisplayPort source to an HDMI display. With a 7.5 metre length and gold-plated connectors, this cable is intended for situations that require an extended reach between a PC, laptop or workstation and an HDMI-equipped monitor, TV or projector. The product provides a fixed, passive link suitable for presentations, home entertainment systems and workstation arrangements where a longer cable run is necessary.

Advantages

The cable features gold-plated contacts on both connectors to improve corrosion resistance and maintain stable signal contact over time. Its 7.5 m length reduces the need for intermediate adapters or extenders in many room layouts. The straightforward DisplayPort-to-HDMI connection simplifies setup by allowing direct connection from a DisplayPort output to an HDMI input without additional converters when source and display support the required signal formats.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting desktop PCs or workstations with DisplayPort outputs to HDMI monitors or TVs for video and audio transmission
• Linking laptops with DisplayPort outputs to external HDMI displays for presentations and meetings
• Setting up a fixed cable run for home theatre or conference-room AV installations where a longer cable is needed

Key specifications

• Connector types: DisplayPort (source) to HDMI (display)
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Contact finish: gold-plated connectors
• Transmission: video and audio over a single cable (unidirectional, DisplayPort source to HDMI display)

How to use

Ensure the source device provides a DisplayPort output and the target display accepts HDMI input. Power off devices before connecting if recommended by device manufacturers. Insert the DisplayPort connector into the source DisplayPort output and the HDMI connector into the display's HDMI input. Power on the devices and select the appropriate input on the display. Adjust resolution and audio output settings in the source device as required to match the display capabilities.

Recommendations

For best results, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and high-interference environments. If the display does not detect a signal, verify that the source supports DisplayPort-to-HDMI output and check display input selection and source display settings. For installations requiring bi-directional conversion, active adapters or signal converters may be necessary because this cable provides a unidirectional connection from DisplayPort source to HDMI display.
