Cable DisplayPort HDMI Type-A Kramer Electronics C-DPM/HM/UHD-3

The Kramer C-DPM/HM/UHD-3 is an active DisplayPort-to-HDMI Type A cable designed to connect a DisplayPort-equipped PC or laptop directly to an HDMI display without additional adapters. The 0.9 m cable supports true conversion when the source does not provide DP++ (dual-mode) output and is compatible with both DisplayPort single-mode and dual-mode outputs. It supports video resolutions up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) and is HDCP 2.2 compliant.

Advantages

This active Kramer cable provides reliable DisplayPort to HDMI conversion in a compact 0.9 m form factor. It supports full 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) video and HDCP 2.2 copy protection, eliminates the need for separate adapters when the source lacks DP++, and features a standard HDMI Type A connector for broad display compatibility. The cable’s black, durable construction enables simple, low-profile connections between laptops or PCs and monitors or TVs.

Suitable for

• Connecting a DisplayPort-equipped laptop or PC to an HDMI monitor or TV
• Setups where the source does not support DP++ and requires active conversion
• Desktop workstations and meeting-room AV rigs needing a short, tidy cable
• Applications requiring 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) video and HDCP 2.2 compliance

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort end to the DisplayPort output of your PC or laptop and plug the HDMI Type A end into the HDMI input of your monitor or TV. Power on both devices and select the correct HDMI input on the display. The cable performs active conversion when required; no additional adapters are necessary. If you encounter display settings, adjust the output resolution on the source device to match the display capabilities (for example, set to 3840x2160 at 60Hz).

Recommendations

For best results, use with devices that support HDMI 2.0 or later to ensure full 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) performance. Keep cable runs short and avoid tight bends to maintain signal integrity. If the source or display firmware is adjustable, ensure drivers and firmware are up to date for compatibility with HDCP 2.2.
