Cable HDMI Python AOC-HP2030 30m HDMI Type-A conector macho 2.0b 18 Gbit/s

The Python AOC-HP2030 HDMI Cable is a 30 m active optical cable designed to carry high-bandwidth HDMI 2.0b signals over long distances. With support for up to 18 Gbit/s throughput and full HDMI Type A male connectors with gold plating, the cable preserves digital video and audio quality while maintaining support for 3D formats and Audio Return Channel (ARC). Its black jacket and slim profile are intended for installations where a reliable, long-reach HDMI connection is required without successive repeaters.

Advantages

The active optical design eliminates signal degradation over long runs that typically affect copper-only cables, enabling consistent 18 Gbit/s performance across the full 30 m length. Gold-plated HDMI Type A contacts improve corrosion resistance and maintain stable electrical contact for audio and video transmission. The cable supports HDMI 2.0b feature set for compatibility with modern sources and displays while the flexible jacket simplifies routing through conduit or along walls.

Suitable for

• Extending HDMI connections between AV sources and displays across long distances in conference rooms
• Home theatre installations where the source and display are in separate rooms
• Digital signage and retail displays requiring reliable high-definition video delivery
• Professional setups where uninterrupted 3D playback and ARC functionality are needed

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A male end to the HDMI output of the source device and the other end to the HDMI input of the display. Ensure both devices are powered and set to the appropriate HDMI input. No external power is typically required for the cable; however, verify device settings if the connected equipment has specific HDMI control or power options. Route the cable carefully to avoid tight bends; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for active optical cables to preserve performance.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid repeated sharp bends and do not place the cable under heavy mechanical stress. Use secured cable runs in fixed installations and test the connected devices for HDR, 3D, and ARC operation after installation. When connecting professional AV equipment, make sure firmware on source and display is up to date to ensure full compatibility with HDMI 2.0b features.
