Cable HDMI ShiverPeaks BS01-20495 40 m

The ShiverPeaks BS01-20495 HDMI Cable 40m is a long-reach HDMI connection solution designed to transmit high-definition audio and video signals between devices separated by extended distances. This 40-metre cable uses HDMI Type A connectors on both ends and supports reliable data transfer suitable for home theatre, conference rooms, and digital signage setups. Gold-plated contacts and construction aimed at signal integrity provide consistent performance across the cable length.

Advantages

The cable offers a high data transfer rate of up to 18 Gbit/s, enabling support for high-definition video formats and multi-channel audio. Gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and contact quality for stable connections. The extended 40 m length reduces the need for multiple adapters or intermediate extenders, keeping installations neater and minimizing potential points of failure. The cable's build focuses on durability for repeated installation and long-term use.

Suitable for

• Connecting AV receivers, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes and TVs over long distances
• Large home theatre installations where source and display are far apart
• Conference rooms and meeting spaces requiring a tidy, single-cable HDMI run
• Digital signage and public display systems in retail or corporate environments

Key specifications

• Cable length: 40 m
• Connector type: HDMI Type A to HDMI Type A
• Maximum data transfer rate: 18 Gbit/s
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Signal: digital audio and video transmission

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI output of the source device and the other connector to the HDMI input of the display or receiver. Ensure both devices are powered off when making the connection to avoid hot-plugging stress. After physical connection, power on the devices and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. For long runs, avoid tight bends and sharp kinks; route the cable to minimize electromagnetic interference from power lines and heavy electrical equipment.

Recommendations

For best results, verify device compatibility with 18 Gbit/s transfer rates and supported video formats. If you experience signal issues over the 40 m distance, check connector seating and routing; consider using signal boosters or active extenders only if necessary and compatible with your devices.
