Cable HDMI ShiverPeaks BS30-55495 40 m

The ShiverPeaks BS30-55495 HDMI Cable 40m is a long-reach HDMI Type A to Type A cable designed to connect audio-visual devices across extended distances while preserving high-bandwidth signal transmission. With support for a 48 Gbit/s data rate, 3D formats and Audio Return Channel (ARC), the cable is intended for installations that require reliable video and audio delivery from source to display or AV receivers. Gold-plated contacts and a black jacket complete the physical specification for consistent performance and a discreet installation appearance.

Advantages

The cable combines a long 40 m length with a high 48 Gbit/s throughput, enabling transmission of high-definition video and multichannel audio without intermediate converters. Gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion risks. The symmetrical HDMI Type A connectors at both ends make the cable compatible with a wide range of TVs, monitors, projectors, AV receivers and media players. Its black outer jacket supports unobtrusive routing along walls or ceilings.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs and projectors to AV receivers or media players over long distances
• Wall-mounted displays and conference room AV installations
• Home cinema systems requiring high-bandwidth HDMI links with ARC support
• Professional AV setups where 40 m cable runs are necessary

Key specifications

• Cable length: 40 m
• Connector type: HDMI Type A (both ends)
• Data transfer rate: 48 Gbit/s
• Supported features: 3D, Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: black

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the output of the source device (such as a Blu-ray player, set-top box, game console or AV receiver) and the other HDMI Type A connector to the input of the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure connectors are fully seated in the device ports. For best results, avoid tight bends and kinks in the cable along the 40 m run and secure the cable route to prevent strain on connectors. If you plan to route the cable through walls or conduit, follow local installation regulations and check that the chosen path accommodates the cable's diameter.

Recommendations

For stable high-resolution video and reliable ARC operation, use the cable in direct runs without unnecessary joints. Inspect connector mating surfaces before installation and avoid exposure to excessive heat or moisture. In complex AV systems, verify device HDMI settings (resolution, HDR, audio return) to ensure compatibility with the 48 Gbit/s link.
