Cable interno PCIe 4.0 DELOCK Slim SAS SFF-8654 8i a 2× OCuLink SFF-8611 4i 0,5 m

DELOCK internal PCIe 4.0 slim SAS cable with an SFF-8654 8i connector to two OCuLink SFF-8611 4i connectors, 0.5 m length, is designed for internal chassis connections where high bandwidth and compact routing are required. This cable supports PCIe 4.0 signaling and is intended to connect NVMe or SAS expanders, host adapters or controllers to OCuLink-compatible devices within servers, workstations or storage enclosures. The slim form factor minimizes space usage and enables tidy internal cable management in dense system configurations.

Advantages

The cable supports PCIe 4.0 data rates, providing the bandwidth needed for low-latency storage and accelerator devices while preserving signal integrity in short internal runs. Its slim profile reduces obstruction inside the chassis and allows routing in tight spaces. The split design with one SFF-8654 8i to two SFF-8611 4i connectors enables connection of two OCuLink devices from a single high-density host port, simplifying internal expansion without additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting NVMe or SAS expanders to host adapters inside servers and workstations
• Internal routing between a PCIe 4.0-capable controller and OCuLink storage devices
• Compact or dense chassis where slim cabling improves airflow and layout
• Short-range internal connections requiring PCIe 4.0 bandwidth and low latency

Key specifications

• Connector types: SFF-8654 8i to two SFF-8611 4i (OCuLink)
• Supported interface: PCIe 4.0 signaling
• Function: Internal split cable for host-to-device connections
• Length: 0.5 m
• Form factor: Slim internal cable optimized for tight spaces

How to use

Install the cable inside the chassis by seating the SFF-8654 8i connector into the corresponding host adapter or expander port and connect the two SFF-8611 4i connectors to the OCuLink-compatible devices. Ensure connectors are aligned and fully engaged before powering the system. Route the slim cable along existing cable channels or tie-down points to avoid contact with cooling fans or sharp edges. Verify firmware and driver compatibility for PCIe 4.0 operation on both host and device sides.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short internal connections only; keep runs within the recommended 0.5 m length for reliable PCIe 4.0 performance. Avoid excessive bending or kinking near connector ends and maintain clearance from high-temperature components. For best results in multi-drive or high-throughput systems, confirm that the host controller and target devices support the required PCIe lanes and link speeds.
