Cable Mini DisplayPort macho - macho ACT 2 metros AK3965

The ACT 2 metre Mini DisplayPort male to male cable AK3965 is a white video/data cable designed to connect devices with Mini DisplayPort and DisplayPort interfaces. The cable provides a direct digital connection between source devices such as laptops or graphics cards and displays including monitors and projectors. With a 2 m length it offers moderate reach for desktop and office setups and aims to deliver high-quality video and audio transmission for compatible devices.

Advantages

The cable supports high-resolution digital video and audio signals and is built to maintain signal integrity across its 2 metre length. Its Mini DisplayPort connector on one end and DisplayPort connector on the other ensure compatibility with equipment that uses these interfaces. The white jacket provides a neutral appearance for office or home environments, and the male-to-male configuration enables straightforward plug-and-play connection without additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops with Mini DisplayPort output to DisplayPort monitors
• Linking desktop graphics cards with DisplayPort input to Mini DisplayPort-equipped displays
• Extending a workstation setup where a 2 m cable length is sufficient
• Presentations with projectors or displays that accept DisplayPort

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector 1: Mini DisplayPort (male)
• Connector 2: DisplayPort (male)
• Product colour: White
• Signal type: Digital video and audio
• Form factor: Male-to-male cable

How to use

Connect the Mini DisplayPort end to the Mini DisplayPort output on your laptop or compatible device and insert the DisplayPort end into the DisplayPort input on your monitor or projector. Ensure both devices are powered on and set to the correct input source on the display. The connection is intended to be plug-and-play; any required display settings, such as resolution or audio output, can be adjusted through the operating system or display controls.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends or sharp kinks in the cable and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use the 2 m length for typical desktop distances; if a longer run is needed, select an appropriately longer certified cable. When connecting high-resolution displays, confirm the source device supports the desired resolution and refresh rate.
