Cable RCA (cinch) ShiverPeaks 90022-3.0MHQ 3,0 m conector macho cromado con contactos dorados

The ShiverPeaks 90022-3.0MHQ is an unbalanced RCA (Cinch) audio cable, 3.0 m long, equipped with chrome metal plugs and gold-plated contacts. It is intended for connecting consumer and semi-professional audio equipment such as amplifiers, CD players, DACs and receivers, delivering a stable mechanical connection and corrosion-resistant terminations for analog line-level signals in home or studio environments.

Advantages

The chrome metal plugs provide robust mechanical durability while the gold-plated contacts resist oxidation to maintain consistent signal transfer. The 3.0 m length offers flexibility for typical home and studio layouts without excessive cable slack. The cable construction is optimized for unbalanced analog connections, offering predictable impedance for line-level sources and minimizing intermittent contact issues at connection points.

Suitable for

• Connecting CD players, DACs and transport devices to amplifiers or integrated receivers
• Hooking line-level outputs from mixers or preamps to recorders or monitors in small studio setups
• Integrating consumer AV components in home theater and stereo systems
• Temporary or permanent analog signal routing where RCA (Cinch) connectors are required

Key specifications

• Connector type: unbalanced RCA (Cinch) plugs with metal housings
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for corrosion resistance
• Plug finish: chrome metal plugs for mechanical protection
• Cable length: 3.0 m
• Intended signal: analog line-level audio

How to use

Identify the output and input RCA jacks on the source and destination devices, matching left (usually white) and right (usually red) channels. Insert each chrome metal RCA plug fully into the corresponding jack until a secure mechanical fit is achieved. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and route the cable to minimize strain and crossing of power cables that can introduce hum. For best results, power down equipment before connecting or disconnecting cables to prevent pops or transient noise.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, periodically inspect the gold-plated contacts and chrome housings for signs of dirt or wear and clean gently with appropriate contact cleaners if necessary. Keep cable runs away from mains power lines and high-current wiring to reduce the risk of interference. Where balanced connections are required or for professional installations with long runs, consider using appropriately rated balanced cables instead.
