Cable USB DeLOCK 80617 1 m USB Type-A a Type-C 10 Gbit/s

This USB cable by Delock connects a device with a USB Type-C connector, such as a smartphone, to a PC or laptop with a USB Type-A port. The 1 m cable supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 (also known as 3.1 Gen 2) for data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps and is available in black or red. Gold-plated connectors improve conductivity and durability.

Advantages

The DeLOCK 80617 cable offers high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 2 performance with up to 10 Gbps transfer, a metal connector housing for improved mechanical protection, gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance, and robust strain reliefs on both ends to reduce wear from bending.

Suitable for

• Transferring large files between a laptop/PC (USB Type-A) and a smartphone or peripheral with USB Type-C
• Backup and sync operations where high data throughput is required
• Connecting Type-C accessories to older systems with Type-A ports

Key specifications

• Connectors: USB Type-A to USB Type-C
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (3.1 Gen 2)
• Maximum data rate: 10 Gbps
• Cable length: 1 m
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts
• Product colours: Black, Red

How to use

Plug the USB Type-A connector into the computer or USB-A host port and connect the USB Type-C plug to the device (for example, a smartphone or an external drive). The cable supports plug-and-play operation; operating system drivers for USB 3.2 should be present on modern systems. Ensure the connectors are inserted fully and avoid excessive bending near the strain reliefs to maintain longevity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable with USB 3.2 Gen 2-capable hosts and devices to achieve the 10 Gbps transfer rate. Avoid pulling the cable by the cord and store it without tight twists to preserve the metal housing and strain reliefs.
