Cable USB DeLOCK 80997 USB 3.2 Gen 1 1 m USB A negro

This USB cable by Delock enables a reliable connection between a device with a USB Type-A connector and a PC or laptop with an available USB Type-A port. The cable is 1 m long, features USB 3.2 Gen 1 (up to 5 Gbit/s) and has USB A connectors on both ends in black finish. Screws on the connector housing secure the connection and help prevent accidental unplugging.

Advantages

The DeLOCK 80997 provides USB 3.2 Gen 1 speed for fast data transfer up to 5 Gbit/s and a standard USB A-to-A configuration for direct connections between compatible devices. Its 1 m length suits desktop and laptop setups, while the connector screws offer additional mechanical retention to reduce accidental disconnection. The black jacket and standard connectors ensure broad compatibility with devices that use USB A ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting external storage devices to a PC or laptop (where A-to-A is supported)
• Data transfer between USB A devices that accept host-to-host connections
• Temporary or semi-permanent connections where preventing accidental unplugging is important

How to use

Insert each USB A connector into the corresponding USB Type-A port on the devices you wish to connect. If the connectors have screw fittings, tighten them by hand until the connection feels secure to reduce movement and accidental unplugging. Ensure both connected devices support direct A-to-A connections or host-to-host communication as required by your use case.

Recommendations

Do not force the connectors into ports; align the USB A plug correctly before insertion. Avoid using this cable for applications requiring USB power delivery beyond standard USB A capabilities. If you need host-to-host functionality between two computers, verify the devices’ compatibility or use a dedicated data transfer solution if required.
