Cable USB Lindy 31800 0,5 m USB B gris

The Lindy 31800 0.5m USB B Grey cable is a short USB B to USB B lead designed for direct device-to-device connections where a compact, reliable link is required. With a 0.5 metre length and grey jacket, the cable provides a neat connection between compatible peripherals that use USB B ports. The cable supports a maximum data transfer rate of 0.48 Gbit/s suitable for standard USB 2.0 communications and typical peripheral tasks.

Advantages

The cable's compact 0.5 m length reduces excess cable clutter while maintaining stable connections between devices. Both ends use USB B connectors to ensure proper mechanical fit and electrical contact with equipment that requires this interface. The grey outer sheath offers a neutral appearance that integrates easily into office and home environments. The construction is intended for routine data transfer and device communication, delivering consistent performance for USB 2.0 speeds.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers, scanners and other peripherals with USB B ports to compatible hosts or hubs
• Short cable runs on desktops or in compact setups where longer cables would be impractical
• Temporary or permanent connections in office, studio or home workstation environments

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB B (male or female as specified by device requirements)
• Connector 2: USB B (male or female as specified by device requirements)
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Data transfer rate: up to 0.48 Gbit/s (USB 2.0)
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Identify the USB B ports on the two devices to be connected and align the cable's USB B connectors with the ports. Insert each connector gently until it seats firmly; do not force the connector if resistance is felt. Use the 0.5 m length for short-distance connections where a compact routing is preferred. For devices that require specific host/peripheral configuration, ensure the host device is powered on and properly configured to recognise attached peripherals after connection.

Recommendations

Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable to extend service life. Keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference and do not expose it to liquids or extreme temperatures. If connecting devices that require higher transfer speeds or powered charging beyond standard USB 2.0 performance, consider using an appropriately rated cable and interface.
