Cable USB ShiverPeaks BS13-37020 1 m USB 3.2 Gen 2 gris

The ShiverPeaks BS13-37020 1m USB 3.2 Gen 2 Grey is a 1-metre USB A to USB A data cable designed to deliver high-speed wired connections with a maximum data transfer rate of 10 Gbit/s. The cable uses USB 3.2 Gen 2 signalling to support fast file transfers and reduced latency for compatible devices. Gold-plated connector contacts improve electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance, while magnetic shielding reduces electromagnetic interference to help maintain signal integrity during intensive data transfer tasks.

Advantages

The cable supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 bandwidth for up to 10 Gbit/s throughput and is backwards compatible with earlier USB standards. Gold-plated contacts provide reliable contact and longer connector life. Magnetic shielding lowers the impact of external interference, helping to preserve stable transfer rates and minimize data errors. The 1 m length offers a balance between reach and manageable cable routing, and the neutral grey finish integrates with a wide range of device setups.

Suitable for

• High-speed data transfers between external drives and PCs
• Connecting USB hubs, docks or peripherals requiring USB A to USB A links
• Temporary direct connections for file synchronization and backups
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is important

Key specifications

• Connector types: USB A to USB A
• USB standard: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (compatible with USB 3.1 Gen 2)
• Maximum data rate: 10 Gbit/s
• Cable length: 1 m
• Contact plating: gold-plated connector contacts
• Shielding: magnetic shielding to reduce interference
• Colour: grey

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the USB A port on the host device and the other end to the USB A port on the target device. Ensure both devices support the desired USB speed to achieve maximum throughput; if one device supports a lower USB generation, overall transfer speed will default to the lower supported rate. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and obvious mechanical strain on the connectors. For best results, plug connectors fully into their ports until a secure connection is felt.

Recommendations

For reliable high-speed transfers, use the cable between devices that support USB 3.2 Gen 2. Avoid running the cable alongside high-power mains cables or unshielded signal lines to further reduce potential interference. Inspect connector contacts periodically for debris and clean gently if needed to maintain good contact quality.
