Cámara de vigilancia IP AXIS 02187-001 Bulb interior techo 1920×1080, 1/2,8 inch CMOS, 4,7–47 mm, 10x óptico, 12x digital, 61,8°×36,3°

AXIS M5000 PTZ combines three 5 MP sensors with a PTZ module in a single indoor ceiling-mounted bulb camera to provide wide situational awareness and detailed zoomed views for areas up to 400 m² (4300 ft²). The camera records Full HD (1920×1080) using a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor and a 4.7–47 mm lens with 10× optical and 12× digital zoom, offers autofocus and day/night functionality, and supports edge storage to record directly to an onboard memory card. Designed for wired ceiling installation, it displays overview and zoomed images on one monitor for fast navigation between views.

Advantages

This single unit provides the coverage of multiple cameras by combining multiple sensors and a PTZ optical zoom, reducing installation points while maintaining situational awareness and the ability to focus on details. Full HD recording, low-light sensitivity and day/night operation ensure usable images across varying lighting conditions. Onboard edge storage enables local recording without relying solely on network storage.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

The camera is designed for indoor ceiling mounting with wired connectivity; it may not be suitable where outdoor weatherproofing or wireless installation is required. For very large areas beyond the quoted coverage or extremely long-range observation, a dedicated long-range PTZ or multiple cameras may be more appropriate.

How to use

Install the camera on a suitable indoor ceiling location with wired network access and power according to the installer guide. Use the camera’s management software or network video recorder to view the combined overview from all sensors and operate the PTZ to zoom into details when needed. Configure recording to the onboard memory card for local retention or to a network recorder for centralized storage. Adjust autofocus and day/night settings as required for the ambient lighting conditions.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Position the camera centrally in the monitored area to maximize the combined sensor coverage; use wired connectivity for stable video streams and configure regular checks of autofocus and day/night mode to maintain image quality across changing light conditions.
