Cámara de vigilancia IP tipo domo ABUS PPIC52520B exterior con cable y sin cable 4K 3840x2160 8MP 4 mm 1/2.8 pulgadas CMOS montaje en pared negro

The ABUS PPIC52520B SmartLook dome camera is an outdoor IP surveillance camera that records in ultra-high 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) and offers pan & tilt functionality. It combines weatherproof housing (IP66) with night vision up to 20 m, two-way audio, intelligent motion detection that distinguishes people, animals and vehicles, and flexible network options (Wi‑Fi 2.4/5 GHz or wired Ethernet). The camera includes an exchangeable microSD card and works with the App2Cam Plus mobile app for setup, live view and notifications.

Advantages

The camera provides very sharp 4K recordings both day and night and offers automatic object classification to reduce false alerts. Setup is simple via Bluetooth and the App2Cam Plus app, and all core functions are available without subscription or account. Built-in features include two-way audio, pre-recording (shows up to 5 seconds before motion), configurable privacy zones and presets for quick pan & tilt positions. The housing is weatherproof for reliable outdoor use.

Suitable for

• Home outdoor surveillance of entrances, driveways and yards
• Small business perimeter monitoring and delivery areas
• Situations requiring high-resolution identification and night vision

When it may not be suitable

This dome camera is not designed for indoor-only scenarios where a compact, purely decorative indoor camera is preferred. It also may not be suitable if you require integrated cloud storage or a managed subscription service, since the product emphasizes local recording on an included microSD card and app-based features without mandatory accounts.

How to use

Insert or replace the included microSD card to enable local recording; the app displays live video, allows digital zoom, enables two-way audio for speaking with visitors, and shows pre-recorded footage from up to five seconds before motion. Configure motion detection sensitivity, privacy zones and preset positions through the app.

What to consider before purchase

• Requires a stable Wi‑Fi network (2.4 or 5 GHz) or Ethernet connection for remote access
• Local recording on microSD is included; cloud storage is not required by default
• Ensure wall mounting location provides power and adequate Wi‑Fi reception or a cable route for Ethernet
• Privacy zones and recording without sound are available for data protection compliance

Recommendations

Mount the camera at a height that balances field of view and detail for identification (e.g., above doorways or along a driveway), avoid direct facing of strong light sources to reduce glare, and define privacy zones in the app to mask neighbouring properties. Regularly check the microSD card and keep firmware updated via the app.
