Carcasa Harting 19300240586 certificada IP65 – carcasa protectora para conectores eléctricos

Harting enclosure model 19300240586 is an IP65-rated protective tulle housing designed to protect electrical connectors and small assemblies from dust and water jets. The lightweight, form-fitting cover is intended to be mounted around connector interfaces to maintain connector performance in industrial and field environments where ingress protection is required. Constructed to provide a protective barrier without obstructing connector access, the enclosure supports routine connection and disconnection while reducing the risk of contamination and moisture exposure.

Advantages

The IP65 rating ensures protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, offering reliable defense in outdoor and industrial settings. The tulle-style construction balances protection and flexibility, enabling easy fitting around various connector shapes without adding significant bulk. Designed for compatibility with standard connector interfaces, the housing preserves access for routine maintenance and connection tasks while improving overall durability of the assembly in demanding conditions.

Suitable for

• Outdoor electrical installations requiring dust and splash protection
• Industrial machinery and control cabinets exposed to water jets or washdowns
• Field service equipment and temporary connections in harsh environments
• Applications where lightweight, removable protection for connectors is needed

Key specifications

• Ingress protection: IP65 (dust tight and protected against water jets)
• Form factor: tulle-style, lightweight protective housing
• Application: protective cover for electrical connectors and small assemblies
• Mounting: designed to be fitted around connector interfaces for quick installation
• Material characteristics: flexible and durable to withstand repeated use (material specifics per manufacturer)

How to use

Place the tulle housing over the connector interface ensuring the cover fully envelops the mating area to achieve the intended ingress protection. Secure the enclosure according to the connector geometry so that it does not interfere with mating or latching mechanisms. Verify that cable routing and strain relief remain intact after installation. For maintenance, remove the housing as needed to access connectors, then refit it after service to restore IP65 protection.

Recommendations

Use this enclosure where protection from dust and water jets is required but frequent access to the connector is still necessary. Avoid exposing the housing to high-pressure washdowns, chemical solvents, or temperatures beyond the manufacturer's specified limits. Periodically inspect the housing for wear or damage and replace it if protective integrity is compromised.
