Chieftec CEB-M2C-TL - caja para almacenamiento - M.2 - tarjeta M.2 NVMe - USB 3,2 (Gen 2) - negra (CEB-M2C-TL)

The Chieftec CEB-M2C-TL Black M.2 is an external HDD/SSD enclosure designed for a single M.2 drive. It is compatible with both NVMe and SATA internal interfaces (supports M and B+M keys) and connects via USB Type-C with transfer speeds up to 10 Gbit/s. The enclosure features a black aluminium housing that provides durability and a compact, portable form factor.

Advantages

The aluminium construction offers improved heat dissipation and solid protection for the installed M.2 SSD. Toolless installation simplifies drive mounting and removal, while support for both NVMe and SATA M.2 modules ensures wide compatibility. USB 3.2 Gen 2 (3.1 Gen 2) connectivity provides high-speed data transfers up to 10Gbps through a USB Type-C port.

Suitable for

• Expanding portable storage for laptops and desktops
• Quick data backups and transfers between devices
• Accessing or cloning M.2 NVMe or SATA drives externally
• Using an M.2 drive as temporary or removable storage

Key specifications

• Supported drive type: M.2 (single drive)
• Interface compatibility: NVMe and SATA (M key and B+M key)
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (3.1 Gen 2)
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 10 Gbit/s
• Connector: USB Type-C
• Material: Aluminium
• Colour: Black

How to use

Open the aluminium case following the toolless mechanism, insert the M.2 module into the appropriate M or B+M keyed slot, secure it according to the enclosure's mounting method, and close the case. Connect the enclosure to a host device using a USB Type-C cable; the host should recognize the drive automatically if drivers are available. Use standard OS tools to format, copy, or manage files on the drive.

Recommendations

For optimal performance with NVMe M.2 drives, connect to a USB 3.2 Gen 2-capable port on the host device. Allow adequate cooling during sustained transfers and handle the enclosure carefully to avoid physical shock to the installed SSD.
