Cinta textil de doble cara Tesa 4934, adhesivo de caucho sintético, blanca, 50 mm x 25 m, uso en interiores, 0,2 mm

Tesa 4934 double-sided fabric tape is a cloth-backed adhesive tape 50 mm wide, 25 m long and 0.2 mm thick designed for indoor bonding where flexibility and conformability are needed. The synthetic rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive provides immediate tack and a reliable hold on textiles, wood, metal and some plastics, while the fabric carrier improves grip on uneven or textured surfaces. The tape is intended for mounting, fixing and joining tasks in both professional and DIY settings and is suitable for applications that require a flexible, tear-resistant bond at temperatures up to 60 °C.

Advantages

The cloth carrier gives good conformability to irregular surfaces and resists tearing during application. The synthetic rubber adhesive offers fast initial tack and dependable bond strength for a range of indoor substrates. At 50 mm width and 25 m length, the tape covers larger surface areas quickly and is easy to handle, cut to length and apply manually or with machines. Its thin 0.2 mm profile keeps joints low-profile while maintaining adequate holding power for lightweight indoor tasks.

Suitable for

• Temporary or permanent mounting of fabrics, textile trims and lightweight coverings
• Fixing components on wood, painted metal and many interior plastic surfaces
• Joining overlapping materials and seams in indoor applications
• Repairing or reinforcing flexible materials where a cloth-backed tape is preferred

When it may not be suitable

This tape is formulated for indoor use and has a temperature resistance up to 60 °C; it may not perform reliably outdoors or under prolonged heat exposure. It is intended for lightweight to medium-duty bonding—applications requiring high shear strength, permanent outdoor durability, or bonding certain sensitive plastics should consider a different adhesive system or mechanical fastenings.

Key specifications

• Carrier type: cloth-backed fabric
• Adhesive type: synthetic rubber, pressure-sensitive
• Width: 50 mm
• Length: 25 m
• Thickness: 0.2 mm
• Recommended use: indoor applications
• Temperature resistance: up to 60 °C
• Conformability: good on uneven or textured surfaces
• Handling: easy to cut and apply manually or with machines

How to use

Ensure both surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, oil or loose particles before application. Cut the required length and apply the tape to the primary surface with firm pressure to remove air pockets and ensure contact with the substrate. Expose the adhesive and press the mating surface firmly against the tape, applying uniform pressure across the joint. Allow the bond to develop under continuous pressure for a short period for best adhesion. When working with fabrics or flexible materials, align carefully before final contact to avoid repositioning once adhesive contact is made.

What to consider before purchase

• Intended use: indoor mounting and fixing of lightweight to medium-duty materials
• Surface compatibility: suitable for textiles, wood, painted metal and many plastics—test on sensitive plastics
• Temperature limits: rated to 60 °C—unsuitable for prolonged outdoor or high-heat exposure
• Thickness and profile: 0.2 mm thin cloth carrier for low-profile joints

Recommendations

Apply at recommended room temperatures on clean substrates for optimal performance. Test adhesion on a small area for sensitive plastics before full application. For heavy loads or outdoor exposure, use mechanical fixings or a tape specified for higher shear strength and outdoor durability. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve adhesive properties.
