CLUB3D Mini DisplayPort 1.4 a HDMI 2.0b HDR Adaptador activo

The Active Adapter CLUB3D Mini DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI 2.0b (CAC-1180) converts a Mini DisplayPort source to an HDMI display while supporting UHD resolutions and HDR. The adapter accepts a Mini DisplayPort 1.4 input and outputs an HDMI 2.0b signal, enabling playback up to 4096 x 2160 at 60Hz when the source and display support the required standards. It supports deep color formats and performs pixel encoding conversion where needed to fit bandwidth limits.

Advantages

This active adapter supports DisplayPort 1.4 input bandwidth (up to 5.4 Gbps per lane over 4 lanes) and produces a fully compliant HDMI 2.0b output, allowing 4K60 and HDR content when the connected devices are compatible. It handles RGB and YCbCr color formats with up to 16 bpc (48 bits per pixel) within link bandwidth, and can convert RGB/YCbCr 4:4:4 to YCbCr 4:2:0 to enable HDR up to 12 bpc at 4K60. The compact black design and copper connector contacts deliver reliable signal transmission for gaming, streaming, and professional displays.

Suitable for

• Connecting a Mini DisplayPort 1.4 laptop or graphics card to an HDMI display or TV
• Playing 4K content at 60Hz on HDMI monitors that support HDMI 2.0b
• Using HDR video and deep color workflows when source and display support DP 1.4 and HDR/HDMI 2.0a/b
• Applications requiring a compact active adapter for gaming, streaming, or professional video work

How to use

Connect the Mini DisplayPort end of the CAC-1180 to the Mini DisplayPort 1.4 output on your computer or graphics card. Plug the HDMI 2.0b connector into the HDMI input of your display or TV. Ensure both the source device and the display support the required standards (DisplayPort 1.4 on the source and HDMI 2.0a/b and HDR on the display) to enable HDR and maximum resolution. Configure the output resolution and color settings on your source device as needed.

Recommendations

For HDR and 4K60 with deep color, use a source that explicitly supports DisplayPort 1.4 and a display that supports HDR and HDMI 2.0a or 2.0b; check and set the output resolution and color depth in the source device display settings to match the display capabilities.
