Compute Module ALLNET Radxa CM3 Model A con 8 GB RAM y 32 GB eMMC

Compute Module ALLNET Radxa CM3 Model A with 8GB RAM and 32GB eMMC is a compact embedded compute module intended for integration into custom carrier boards, development platforms and industrial systems. The module combines an integrated memory configuration with local eMMC storage to support operating systems, applications and data caching without requiring an external storage device. Its form factor and interfaces are designed to simplify embedding into prototypes and small-scale production devices where space and reliable local storage are important.

Advantages

The module provides a pre-configured local storage option and a fixed memory size, reducing setup time for software deployment and system images. Compact dimensions and standardized connector compatibility facilitate integration into existing carrier boards and allow consistent electrical and mechanical interfacing. Onboard eMMC is more robust than removable storage in vibration-prone or enclosed environments, and the fixed RAM and eMMC pairing simplifies qualification for controlled or production environments.

Suitable for

• Embedded systems and custom carrier board designs
• Edge computing nodes and industrial controllers
• IoT gateways and sensor aggregation devices
• Prototyping and development platforms
• Small form-factor appliances and single-board computer replacements

Key specifications

• Memory: 8 GB RAM (soldered onboard)
• Storage: 32 GB eMMC internal storage
• Form factor: compact compute module design for carrier board integration
• Intended use: embedded and industrial integration with local storage
• Connectivity options: module exposes standard interfaces through carrier board (interface types depend on carrier design)

How to use

Install the module on a compatible carrier board or development board that matches the module's connector and power requirements. Prepare an operating system image compatible with the module and write it to the onboard eMMC or use a provisioning procedure supported by the carrier board. Connect required peripherals (power, network, serial console, sensors) via the carrier board's exposed interfaces. Use standard system tools to partition, format or image the eMMC if custom storage layouts are needed. Ensure proper grounding and secure mechanical mounting to prevent stress on the module connectors.

Recommendations

During integration, verify the carrier board schematic and power sequencing requirements to ensure compatibility. Use stable power supplies and include proper decoupling and thermal considerations in the final design. For development, keep a serial console available for initial configuration and recovery procedures. Back up eMMC images and validate firmware updates in a controlled environment before field deployment.
