Conector coaxial Hama 00205224 1 ud.

The Hama 00205224 coaxial connector is a compact single-piece adapter with a female F connector on one end and a coaxial connection on the other. Designed to provide stable signal transmission for audio and video systems, it is suitable for integrating TV, set-top boxes, radios and other devices that use coaxial cabling. The silver finish and small footprint make it easy to install in confined spaces and retrofit into existing cable runs without requiring tools beyond a wrench for tightening.

Advantages

The adapter offers reliable electrical contact and low signal loss by combining a female F connector with a coaxial interface. Its single-piece construction reduces points of failure and simplifies installation. The silver-coloured exterior provides corrosion resistance and a neutral appearance that fits most AV setups. Because the design is compact and standardized, it enables consistent connections between consumer devices and coaxial cabling infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Connecting televisions to antenna or cable signals
• Linking set-top boxes or satellite receivers to coaxial cabling
• Extending or adapting coaxial runs in AV installations
• Connecting radios or tuners that use F-type connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: female F to coaxial
• Construction: single-piece adapter
• Colour: silver finish
• Intended signal: audio/video RF coaxial
• Application environment: indoor AV and broadcast cabling

How to use

Ensure both cable ends and device ports are powered off before connecting. Thread the female F connector onto the male F-type plug or device input until hand-tight, then secure with a small wrench if required to ensure a firm electrical contact without over-tightening. Make sure the coaxial cable inner conductor is centred and not bent during insertion to maintain signal quality. After installation, verify signal reception on the connected device and re-check the mechanical tightness if signal issues occur.

Recommendations

Use the connector indoors and avoid exposure to moisture or extreme temperatures. For best performance, use with properly prepared coaxial cable (correctly stripped and with intact centre conductor) and replace any damaged connectors or cables. When installing multiple connectors in a line, minimize the number of adapters to reduce potential signal attenuation.
