Cortasetos Black & Decker GTC18452PC

The Black & Decker GTC18452PC is a cordless hedge trimmer designed for light to medium garden maintenance. Weighing approximately 2.42 kg, it combines a double blade cutting system with a compact, lightweight construction to provide easier manoeuvrability around shrubs and hedgerows. The tool runs from a rechargeable battery for cord-free operation and includes an ergonomically shaped handle to reduce fatigue during extended trimming sessions.

Advantages

The double blade design enables efficient, clean cuts and reduces the number of passes required to shape hedges. Cordless operation increases mobility and eliminates the need for nearby power outlets, while the low overall weight improves handling and control. An ergonomic handle offers a comfortable grip for extended use and helps maintain steady trimming angles.

Suitable for

• Trimming small to medium hedges and shrubs
• Detail shaping and edge work in residential gardens
• Maintenance pruning of ornamental bushes
• Sites where a cordless tool improves access and safety

Key specifications

• Tool type: Cordless hedge trimmer
• Weight: approx. 2.42 kg
• Blade type: Double blade cutting system
• Power source: Rechargeable battery (cordless operation)
• Handle: Ergonomic design for improved grip and control

How to use

Before use, ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted according to the manufacturer's instructions. Hold the unit with both hands using the ergonomic handle and position the blades at the desired cutting angle. Move the trimmer in smooth, sweeping motions along the hedge, keeping steady, even passes for uniform results. For thicker branches, make multiple controlled passes rather than forcing the blades through oversized material. After trimming, switch off the tool and remove the battery before cleaning or storing.

Recommendations

For best results, charge the battery completely before starting and work methodically from the top of the hedge downward. Wear appropriate eye and hand protection during use, and avoid trimming wet foliage to prevent slipping and uneven cuts. Regularly inspect and clean the blades after each session to maintain cutting performance and prolong tool life.
