DSIT Cable de red patch CAT 6 S/FTP LSOH, 0,25 m, naranja

In a crowded server room or a busy office, a short, reliable patch cable is often the unsung hero keeping connections tidy and data flowing. This DSIT CAT 6 S/FTP LSOH cable in orange is built for exactly that: connecting network devices over short distances with full 10 Gigabit performance and a safety-conscious jacket. Its 0.25-meter length is perfect for patching between adjacent ports on a patch panel, switch, or wall outlet, reducing clutter and improving airflow in high-density racks.

Why choose it

The S/FTP shielding provides excellent protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, ensuring stable, error-free transmissions even in electrically noisy environments. The LSOH jacket is a critical safety feature for enclosed spaces: in the event of fire, it emits very low smoke and no halogen gases, protecting people and equipment. The vibrant orange colour makes cable identification and tracing effortless, saving time during maintenance or reconfiguration.

Ideal use cases

• Short-distance patching in server racks and network cabinets
• Connecting network devices in close proximity, such as a modem to a router
• High-density installations where cable management is essential
• Environments requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cabling (e.g., public buildings, data centers)
• Colour-coded network segments for easy visual management

Good to know

This cable is backward compatible with Cat 5e and Cat 5 networks, so it works seamlessly with existing infrastructure. The stranded copper conductors provide flexibility for frequent bending and re-routing without performance loss. Each cable is factory tested to meet CAT 6 performance standards, ensuring reliable connectivity out of the box.
