DVR Hikvision IDS-7204HUHI-M1/X/4A+4/1ALM — grabador de 4 canales AHD/HD-CVI/HD-TVI/CVBS/IP con AcuSense

Hikvision IDS-7204HUHI-M1/X/4A+4/1ALM is a 4-channel hybrid digital video recorder that accepts AHD, HD‑CVI, HD‑TVI, CVBS and IP camera inputs. The unit combines multi-format analogue and network video support with local recording, AcuSense object-filtering analytics and alarm I/O for straightforward surveillance deployments in homes, small offices and retail locations.

Advantages

The recorder supports mixed camera ecosystems, allowing integration of existing analogue coaxial cameras and newer IP cameras on the same device. Built-in AcuSense analytics improves motion detection by distinguishing human and vehicle targets from other motion, reducing false alarms. The device offers local storage management, flexible recording modes and alarm input/output options to connect sensors and external devices for automated responses.

Suitable for

• Home security and perimeter monitoring
• Small business surveillance and shopfloor coverage
• Upgrading mixed analogue/IP camera systems without replacing all cameras
• Entrances, driveways and small parking areas requiring object filtering

Key specifications

• Channels: 4 analogue hybrid channels plus support for IP camera channels
• Supported video formats: AHD, HD‑CVI, HD‑TVI, CVBS and network (IP) streams
• Smart analytics: AcuSense for human and vehicle classification
• Recording options: continuous, scheduled and motion-triggered recording
• Alarm interfaces: multiple alarm inputs and outputs for external sensors and sirens
• Storage: local hard drive support (single SATA bay)
• Remote access: network connectivity for live view and playback via apps or web

How to use

Install the recorder in a dry, ventilated location and connect cameras to the appropriate BNC or network ports. Configure storage by installing a compatible internal hard drive and setting recording schedules and retention policies through the recorder’s menu. Enable AcuSense analytics and tune sensitivity and target types (human, vehicle) to match the monitored environment. Connect alarm sensors to the input terminals and define automated actions such as recording, alarm output or notifications when events occur.

Recommendations

Place cameras to minimize vegetation or moving objects in the field of view to reduce false detections. Regularly check and update firmware, and periodically review recorded footage and analytics settings to ensure optimal detection performance. When mixing analogue and IP cameras, verify network bandwidth and storage requirements based on chosen resolution and frame rate.
