Epson WorkForce DS-1730 escáner de sobremesa y ADF 1200 x 1200 DPI A4 Negro, Blanco

Epson WorkForce DS-1730 is a compact flatbed scanner with an integrated automatic document feeder (ADF) designed for A4 documents. It provides optical scanning resolution up to 1200 x 1200 DPI using a CIS sensor, 30-bit input colour depth and an RGB LED light source. The ADF accepts up to 60 sheets and supports duplex scanning, while the flatbed accommodates single pages, business cards and plastic cards. The unit is intended for office workflows and has a daily duty cycle rated up to 3000 pages. The scanner is supplied in black and white colour options and weighs 4.82 kg.

Advantages

The DS-1730 combines flatbed convenience with ADF throughput to handle both single-item scanning and batch jobs. Optical resolution up to 1200 x 1200 DPI on the glass enables higher-detail captures for photos and delicate documents, while the ADF provides fast 600 dpi-equivalent scanning for multi-page sets and duplex scans. A compact footprint and straightforward setup support integration into office workspaces where space and reliability are important.

Suitable for

• Office document digitisation and archiving
• Scanning multi-page contracts, invoices and reports with duplex needs
• Capturing IDs, business cards and plastic-coated documents on the flatbed
• Workflows requiring a compact, moderately high-volume scanner (daily duty up to 3000 pages)

How to use

Place single items such as photos, ID cards or plastic cards on the flatbed glass and close the lid before starting a scan. For multi-page documents, load up to 60 sheets into the ADF tray, align the stack and select duplex mode when scanning both sides. Connect the scanner to a host computer using the provided USB interface and use the supplied or compatible scanning software to configure resolution, colour depth and file format. Follow on-screen prompts to preview and save scanned files to local or network storage.

Recommendations

For consistent results, clean the flatbed glass regularly and keep the ADF rollers free of dust and debris. Use the flatbed for fragile, small or plastic documents and the ADF for standard paper stacks. Choose 1200 x 1200 DPI for detailed image captures and lower resolutions for high-speed document throughput.
