Extensor de objetivo Canon RF 1.4x — Montura Canon RF, 225 g, blanco/negro

The Canon Extender RF 1.4x is a lens extender for Canon RF-mount cameras that multiplies a compatible RF lens focal length by 1.4× while maintaining RF electrical and mechanical connections. Weighing 225 g and available in white or black, it provides greater reach for wildlife, sports, press and other applications where extra magnification is needed without changing lenses.

Advantages

The Canon 1.4x extender uses high-refraction, low-dispersion glass and optimized lens coatings to minimise chromatic aberration and control curvature of field, helping to preserve image quality when increasing focal length. A three-layer combined lens design reduces ghosting by minimising air-contact surfaces, and a white heat-shield coating helps maintain consistent performance under higher temperatures. The extender retains RF electrical and mechanical interfaces and includes a mechanism that prevents lens elements from contacting each other, while offering dust- and water-resistance and vibrational shock protection for reliable professional use.

Suitable for

• Wildlife photography where extra reach is required
• Sports and action photography to capture distant subjects
• Press and event photography when changing lenses is impractical
• Any RF-lens situations needing 1.4× increased focal length without altering camera interfaces

Key specifications

• Mount: Canon RF
• Magnification: 1.4×
• Weight: 225 g
• Dimensions: 71.2 × 71.2 mm
• Colours: White, Black
• Electrical/mechanical interface: Maintains RF connections

How to use

Attach the Canon Extender RF 1.4x between a compatible RF lens and the camera body following the normal mounting alignment marks, ensuring secure engagement of electrical contacts. Use the camera and lens normally — autofocus and aperture control remain operational with supported lenses, although maximum aperture and AF performance may be affected depending on the lens. Store and handle the extender with care, keeping contacts clean and protecting optical surfaces from dust or impact.

Recommendations

For best results, use the extender with Canon RF telephoto L-series lenses optimised for extenders, monitor autofocus performance and effective aperture on your specific lens, and avoid changing lenses in dusty or wet environments to preserve the extender's dust- and water-resistant seals.
