Fusible CNC NV822492 22×58 mm gG 500 V 125 A

CNC NV822492 cartridge fuse, size 22×58 mm, type gG with a rated voltage of 500 V and nominal current 125 A. This fuse provides full-range protection for low-voltage installations, designed to protect circuits, transformers, cables and connected equipment from overload and short-circuit currents. It conforms to IEC 60269 and is suitable for industrial, commercial and domestic electrical systems where a replaceable, time-delay gG fuse is required.

Advantages

The gG characteristic offers both overload and short-circuit protection in a single cartridge. Its 22×58 mm form factor is compatible with standard fuse holders and switchgear. With a breaking capacity of 100 kA and IEC 60269 certification, the fuse meets common safety and performance requirements for low-voltage applications. The time-delay behavior improves selectivity with downstream protective devices and reduces nuisance blowing on temporary inrush currents.

Suitable for

• Protection of distribution circuits in industrial and commercial installations
• Protection of transformers and motors from overload and short circuit
• Cable and wiring protection in low-voltage switchboards
• Replacement in fuse holders sized for 22×58 mm gG cartridges

Key specifications

• Type: gG (general purpose, full-range protection)
• Rated voltage: 500 V
• Nominal current: 125 A (Conventional heating current)
• Breaking capacity: 100 kA
• Dimensions: Ø 22 mm × 58 mm (22×58 mm cartridge)
• Standard/certification: IEC 60269, CE

How to use

Install the CNC NV822492 fuse into a compatible 22×58 mm fuse holder or fuse switchgear while the circuit power is off. Verify the fuse rating (500 V, 125 A) matches the circuit and select proper upstream and downstream protective devices for coordination. Replace blown fuses with identical gG cartridges to maintain the designed protection characteristics. Follow local electrical codes and safety procedures when performing installation or replacement.

Recommendations

Use this gG 22×58 mm cartridge for general overcurrent protection in low-voltage installations; ensure correct rating and coordination with other protective devices to achieve reliable operation and selective fault clearance.
