GEMBIRD Cable HDMI High Speed Active Optical (AOC) con Ethernet - Serie AOC Premium - 10 m

The Gembird CCBP-HDMI-AOC-10M-02 is a 10 m HDMI Active Optical Cable (AOC) with HDMI Type A connectors that transmits digital HDMI signals over optical fiber. Using fiber optic technology allows reliable signal transmission up to 100 m with reduced electromagnetic (EMI/RFI) interference compared with traditional copper cables. The cable includes dedicated internal copper power wires, so no external power supply is required. It supports HDMI 2.0 bandwidth and 4K UHD resolution at 60 Hz, and features gold-plated contacts and a slim braided jacket for durability and a smaller diameter than standard copper HDMI cables.

Advantages

The optical core provides long-distance signal integrity and lower susceptibility to EMI/RFI in environments with electrical interference. The slim, extra-thin braided design and metal connectors improve mechanical durability while keeping cable diameter reduced. Gold-plated contacts offer reliable connectivity and resistance to corrosion. Native HDMI Type A connectors ensure compatibility with TVs, projectors and computers.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to AV receivers or set-top boxes where long cable runs are needed
• Linking projectors in conference rooms or classrooms at extended distances
• Connecting PCs or media players to displays without signal degradation over 10 m and beyond

Key specifications

• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: HDMI Type A (standard) to HDMI Type A (standard)
• Technology: Active Optical Cable (AOC) with internal copper power wires
• HDMI version: 2.0, bandwidth up to 16 Gbit/s
• Resolution support: up to 4K UHD @ 60 Hz
• Colour: Black
• Contacts: Gold-plated

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A plug to the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, media streamer or PC) and the other HDMI Type A plug to the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure connectors are fully inserted. No external power supply is required thanks to the built-in copper power wires. Use cable management to avoid sharp bends near the ends; maintain the gentle bend radius recommended for fiber optic cables.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tight coils and sharp bends, keep the cable away from strong electrical noise sources where possible, and verify both source and display support HDMI 2.0 and 4K@60Hz to utilize full bandwidth.
