Herramienta de tirado de cables c.k tools MightyRod T5442 11 para cables de 11 a 16 mm

The c.k tools MightyRod T5442 11 is a cable pulling tool designed for installing and guiding medium-diameter cables with diameters from 11 to 16 mm. This portable rod system helps feed and steer cables through conduits, trunking and confined spaces, allowing electrical installers and technicians to route cables more efficiently and with improved control compared to manual pushing alone. The tool is compact for transport and storage and is intended for on-site cable routing tasks where accuracy and reduced physical strain are required.

Advantages

The MightyRod system provides a stable yet flexible solution for feeding cables through bends and long runs, reducing the risk of cable damage and minimizing time spent on routing. Its construction balances stiffness for pushing with enough flexibility to navigate turns, improving positioning accuracy. The tool's portability and ease of assembly make it suitable for repetitive tasks across multiple job sites, while decreasing physical effort for the operator.

How to use

Assemble the rod sections according to the manufacturer's instructions to achieve the required length and curvature. Attach the cable to the rod head or pulling eye as appropriate for the chosen method, then feed the rod through the conduit or pathway while maintaining steady forward pressure. Where bends occur, apply controlled steering to guide the cable around corners rather than forcing it. Once the rod emerges at the access point, pull the cable through to the required length and detach it from the rod. Disassemble and store the tool after use.

Recommendations

Inspect the conduit route for sharp edges or obstructions before use, and avoid excessive force that could damage the cable insulation. Use appropriate personal protective equipment, and select the correct rod configuration to match the conduit length and bend profile. For cables near the upper diameter limit, proceed slowly and verify clearances to reduce friction and risk of snagging.
