Hypertec 395132-HY adaptador de fibra óptica LC 1 ud. azul, blanco

The Hypertec 395132-HY fibre optic adapter with LC connector type is designed for single-mode fiber applications and provides a compact interface for connecting LC-terminated single-mode cables. The adapter is supplied as a single piece and uses a blue and white colour scheme to indicate single-mode compliance and port identification. It is intended for use in telecommunication and data network environments where precise alignment and low insertion loss are required.

Advantages

This LC fibre optic adapter offers stable mechanical alignment and compatibility with standard LC single-mode connectors, minimising insertion loss and back reflection in patching or panel installations. The compact form factor conserves rack and panel space while the colour coding helps with quick identification during installation and maintenance. A single-piece design reduces the number of components to manage and supports straightforward replacement when required.

How to use

Install the adapter into the designated aperture of a fibre patch panel, faceplate or enclosure, ensuring it is oriented correctly for LC connectors. Insert LC-terminated single-mode patch cords into the adapter until they click into place to establish a secure connection. For removal, depress the connector latch and withdraw the connector straight out to avoid stressing the fibre. Check alignment and optical continuity with appropriate test equipment after installation to confirm acceptable insertion loss and return loss levels.

Recommendations

Keep dust caps on unused adapter ports when not in use to prevent contamination. Use appropriate cleaning tools and procedures for fibre endfaces prior to connection, and avoid bending fibres beyond their minimum bend radius near the adapter to maintain signal integrity.
