How to use

Mount the reader at the designated entry point and connect wiring to the access controller following the controller manufacturer’s wiring diagram. Configure the controller to recognize the reader's input format and program user credentials—assign RFID cards or tags and set PIN codes as required. To authenticate, present a compatible proximity card or tag to the reader and/or enter the assigned PIN on the numeric keypad. The access controller evaluates the presented credential and keypad input, then commands the locking hardware to grant or deny entry.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, install the reader at eye- to hand-height and away from strong electromagnetic interference.
